>>  Who maintains the neighborhood fences?
The Seabrook Island Homeowners Association maintains only Common Area items. Relative to fence repair and maintenance, the Covenants identify only perimeter walls as fences classified as being Common Area. These are the wood fences at the boundary between Lakepointe Forest and Seabrook Island.  All other wood fences are homeowner responsibility. Note that the HOA Board maintains the stucco columns on Lakeside Drive and has also decided, for color uniformity purposes, to provide the "mesa brown" paint to Homeowners for the wood portions of the Lakeside Drive fences. However, the Lakeside Drive fences reside on homeowner property lines in a similar manner to those between adjacent neighbors. As such, the wood portions of the Lakeside Drive fences remain homeowner responsibility for repair and maintenance.

>> What color do fences need to be?

The homes that have the painted corner fences are responsible for the maintenance of the fences. The paint is Mesa Brown by Monarch, currently Pittsburgh Paint. You can contact Pittsburgh Paint at 281-338-1433 regarding the Mesa Brown paint. A cash account has been set up for the owners in Seabrook Island which will enable the owners to purchase paint at a discounted rate.
